PRODUCTION

Unlike goats and sheep, alpacas do not have hooves, minimizing their effect on pastures.
Alpacas have low grease content which means that less energy is used during the alpaca fiber washing process. 
The wide range of natural colors afforded by the alpaca, over 20, means less dying occurs resulting in a lower environmental impact.
We limit production to ensure minimal amount of waste.

Shipping boxes are made in the USA from 100% recycled materials.
The polybags are made from hydropol, a modified polymer similar to polyvinyl alcohol, the material used to coat dishwasher and laundry tablets. They are biodegradable and instantly dissolve in boiling water.
